How to get a 2 year old to sleep?

My daughter is 2 1/2 years old, and we just recently have been having issues with her sleeping. We put her to bed around 8 every night, and she used to sleep in until 9 in the morning. Just recently, she started waking up at 6 in the morning, and will NOT go back to bed....no matter what we do, she always seems to wake up earlier and earlier. We've tried putting her to bed earlier, putting her to bed later, not giving her a nap, waking her up from her nap, and nothing seems to work. Last night she didn't go to bed until 10:30 after she sat in her bed for 2 1/2 hours, and thinking that she would sleep later didn't work since she woke up again, bright and early at 6. It wouldn't be an issue if she was fine throughout the day, but she's not. The next day she's aggitated and usually avoids taking her nap. Most of the time she won't even go down, which makes for a wonderful day (sarcasm)! Anyone have any ideas on how to get your child to sleep in longer? Or go down easier for bed? We've had some major changes recently (just moved to a new home, and also just got rid of her pacifier for GOOD) so I know that that is probably adding to her issues. Anyone else have issues with their kids going from great sleepers to not good sleepers? Anything will help!
