Middle of the night stomach pain?

Okay so for the past 2 nights, I woke up in the middle of the night around 2ish because this is when I'm a light sleeper and everything wakes me up. So anyways every time I wake up, about 5 minutes later I get the worse stomachache ever. It's right above my belly button and it keeps me from falling back asleep. I've been up for 2 hours now and it hasn't gone away and I have school in the morning and I'm just miserable. This happens a lot and I should say that I have a lot of stomach issues and I'm seeing a gastrologist this week. Please help! Thank you!
