You obviously care for your ex or you wouldn't care how he feels. But if you love the other guy more then you're being even worse by not being honest with your ex. By not telling him yourself you leading him on and hurting him more think about it. But you need to decide now which one is best because you care for him a lot more than you think. I have been in this situation before and it sucks I know. But you really are hurting him more by not telling him yourself. In this situation some one will be hurt either way you go. You are going to hurt people in life and you just gotta do it and it is tough but tell him yourself its more respectful to him and you will feel better in the end since you did yourself and you had more respect for him than having someone else do it for you.
