Will he ever give me a chance?

we are both in high school and well he a freshman and im a junior. we have been talking for a month or so and found out that we think we kinda like each other but surprisingly we then started going out with other people at around the same time. while we were boith in relationship we were texting each other and told each other how we still like each other and that we both wantd to kiss at one time bu8t thought that the other one ddidnt want to. now we are both single beacuaese of some problems happaning in both of our relationships. well we friends and we talk and chill once in a while i would like him to give me a chance in like going out but when i texted him " wld yhu ever go out with me" he sad " siomeday" i dont gret it i thought we both liked each other and stuff plus one time i said that i thought all guyss were the same and he said not true and i said how do yhu no and he said because im different and i asked how are u so different he said because i treat my gurl as a princess. and i said thats good but i dont know what to do i mean everytime i pass by him in school its just a hi and bye situation i want him to like me and give me a chance but i dont know what to dlo. i told him i liked him m and he said he feels same way but it seems like at the sane time he dont want to do nothing with me.
