How can I get up without waking up my girlfriend?

My girlfriend is in her third trimester of pregnancy so she doesn't get a whole lot of sleep. When I get up I always wake her up and she can't go back to sleep. Occasionally I need a drink of tea or to go to the bathroom and I wake her up getting out of bed. I normally sleep with my arms around her and she will hold one of them so I'm kind of locked in place. 10 month old sleeping too much or just lucky?

Since my son was born he has always been a great sleeper...but now he sleeps from 1030 at night till 9 am then from 1030 am till 2 pm and again from 7 to 830 everyday. I know its no concern becase a baby will sleep when its tired just curious if its "normal"

Liquid from ear HELP what should I do?

I have a little painful stop inside my ear but it is leaking, I mean to the point where it visabley (sp) wets things. It smells funny then crusts, I cant stop my desire to pick all of the scaps (which are a gold color) off and it is super painful. Did i smother my kitten....?

5 months and still not feeling right?

I had a virus in December which lasted 24 hours or so, upset stomach and I fainted. Ever since then I haven't felt like I've got back to normal. I've have moments where I feel faint or my head just feels a bit hazy. I have a bit of ringing in my ears too, usually at night. I'm often really aware of my heartbeat, it's like I can feel it constantly and it also feels like it's skipping a beat at times. I wake up in the morning and always feel as though I haven't had enough sleep - I've never been a great sleeper and wake up for a couple of minutes around 3-4 times a night. I had a blood test in January and an ECG - both were fine. I had another blood test a couple of weeks ago which again was fine. I think my GP is at the stage where he doesn't know what else to do. I've had my eyes tested too, I'm slightly long-sighted but I'm not sure that it would make me feel like this. I'm constantly thinking about why I'm not feeling better and often wonder whether I'm making it worse by worrying about it. Whatever it is it's driving me mad! Advice would be really appreciated.

14 month old not sleeping through the night?

My son has never been a good sleeper. We did do some Ferber at 6 months and he goes to bed awake at night and puts him self to sleep. However starting at 8 months he had three solid months of ear infections and finally got tubes. Starting sleeping through for a short time then family in, seperation anxiety, slept through 6 nights. Went in for 1 year well baby and shots kept him up for night or two and then he caught a strain of the coxsackie virus which was HORRIBLE!!!!!! He was up numerous times screaming. Finally over that, now teething, went on vacation. Now we are home and he still has some teeth coming through but don't really seem to bother him. He is still waking once a night and yes I give him a bottle and some Orajel naturals and he goes right back down. Wondering how many of you out there had similar experiences and when they finally did sleep through the night. I am not interested in crying it out. Just curious when your little ones finally slept through. Those that had babies that have slept great their whole lives need not reply, we get it, your lucky. :)

Back in late October/early November I met this guy at a bar I was going to at the time. He wasn't one of the customers, he worked in the kitchen preparing food & serving it out on the floor. Another says, "I miss you soo much". I'm thinking,"What in the world is going on". So one day I'm sitting beside him on his moms couch & he's on Facebook from my computer. The thread that was in the inbox is the same one I have read over and over getting myself more & more pissed(I had logged into his Facebook a couple times to see what he was replying to her, which I'm also not proud of). I saw it & played it cool asking him what she had to say. He said that she was saying stuff she shouldn't be saying but that he had told her that she needed to quit because he had a girlfriend, etc,etc. That for one is a lie. And then he goes on to say that she says that stuff to aggravate him, etc, etc. Again, another lie. For one, when I did log in to his Facebook account I read his replies to her. He 'admitted' to me that he had said that but only because she had cervical cancer, her husband was leaving her, and he was saying that for a 'self-esteem boost'. I cannot get my toddler to bed anymore, does anyone else have problems with this around 2 years old?

My daughter is approaching two years old and for the last month, she does not want to go to bed at night. Sometimes I even have the same issues with nap time. I know she is tired because she yawns, rubs her eyes, throws temper tantrums, etc. I have tried everything. From baths, rocking her in the glider, dim lights, reading bed time stories, rubbing her back, humming, pacing her bed room. I don't try these all in the same nights but I have tried each one a few nights in a row to see if something would help. I block out the outside lights, run a fan on low, and she has a night light. I have to run the fan because we live in a very small house and the walls are like paper so you can hear everything. My husband and I stay quiet. I am just at loss. She fights sleep every night and even gets up at 3 am to play. It takes me over an hour to get her sleep every night and most nights I leave her in her crib to fall asleep after a half hour of trying to get her to calm down.. She talks, bounces, kicks the sides, and plays in her crib all the time. I have even tried early bedtime around 8:00 and later up until 10:15. I just don't know what will make this kid sleep without a show down every night. She doesn't cry or carry on hardly, she just will not go to sleep. I have tried changing her naps and even tried days without a nap but to no avail my child will not cooperate. I really hope this just a phase. She was a great sleeper until a month or two ago. This wouldn't be such a problem but I am in school and take online classes, night time is my school time. I cannot do my work when she is up during the day for obvious reasons with a toddler running around. Any advice experienced mamas?

How to get a 2 year old to sleep?

My daughter is 2 1/2 years old, and we just recently have been having issues with her sleeping. We put her to bed around 8 every night, and she used to sleep in until 9 in the morning. Just recently, she started waking up at 6 in the morning, and will NOT go back to bed....no matter what we do, she always seems to wake up earlier and earlier. We've tried putting her to bed earlier, putting her to bed later, not giving her a nap, waking her up from her nap, and nothing seems to work. Last night she didn't go to bed until 10:30 after she sat in her bed for 2 1/2 hours, and thinking that she would sleep later didn't work since she woke up again, bright and early at 6. It wouldn't be an issue if she was fine throughout the day, but she's not. The next day she's aggitated and usually avoids taking her nap. Most of the time she won't even go down, which makes for a wonderful day (sarcasm)! Anyone have any ideas on how to get your child to sleep in longer? Or go down easier for bed? We've had some major changes recently (just moved to a new home, and also just got rid of her pacifier for GOOD) so I know that that is probably adding to her issues. Anyone else have issues with their kids going from great sleepers to not good sleepers? Anything will help!

Letting 2 1/2 year old cry it out?

We are having some trouble getting my 2 1/2 year old to sleep for naps and at bedtime. Originally we were laying with him to get him to bed, but that started taking an hour and a half to get him to sleep and we now have a 3 month old so I cant be laying with him for that long because she isn't a super good sleeper yet. Then we started reading him books then just leaving him in his room to fall asleep on his own, he actually did really good at that for about a week and now all of the sudden if we do that same thing he will scream and cry for an hour, maybe even longer. My question is, is it just ok to let him sit in there and scream until he goes to bed even if it's for over an hour? This seems horrible to be but it seems as though he's doing all this on purpose because he knows he'll get his way and we will come in a check on him or whatever. I've also tried phasing out naps thinking maybe he just wasn't tired and if I do that he goes to bed really early and wakes up frequently at night. I dont really have too much of a problems letting him cry it out because I know he's capable of going to sleep on his own but i dont want to tramatize him or have him have a negative outlook on his room or bedtime. and now if he wakes in the middle of the night and he wont go back to bed on his own, he expects my husband or I to sleep with him all night.

Okay so I scored a 1790 on my SAT but I'm not sure if I should take it again to try to get a better grade. I also scored a 28 on the ACT, without the writing portion. 19 month old waking up screaming?

Hi everyone. My 19 month old has always been a fantastic sleeper. He takes 1 nap during the day for about 2.5-3 hours and then sleeps 10-12 hours at night. We have bedtime routine we have followed since birth and even during teething he would always sleep well. Lately though he is waking up from his naps about 30 minutes to an hour early and just screaming! If my husband or I go in there and get him he immediately calms down. We will usually put him back down if the nap hasn't been too long and he will sometimes cry harder or sometimes he rolls over and goes back to sleep. This only happens at nap time. We've also tried not going in there thinking maybe he was just getting too used to us coming in and rocking him but that led to him screaming to the point of chugging for 20 minutes and I couldn't take it anymore and went to get him. Does anyone have any experience with this or advice? I'm hoping it's just a phase but I welcome any suggestions!

That sometimes happens to me too. During the day, you don't have the time of mind to really think about how lonely you are, about your life. And at night, just before you fall asleep, you have time to really reflect on your day and think about what happened. You pick out the little details that bother you, and then that's when you wish it could be mended. I know it sounds childish, but getting a big stuffed animal might help :) At least you'd have somebody to hug. If you have a boyfriend, you could always ask him to come over and comfort you. You could also start a journal. It helps to write down what's really bothering you. Hope I helped :)

Can jinns possessed animals?

We sometimes have raccoons coming into our backyard. Last night a raccoon was passing by and I think it was possessed. It was making this loud growling noise not a natural raccoon sound. My son wet his bed until just about a year ago. He was roughly 10 when he stopped. Our insurance said they would not cover an alarm, the best bet is to ask your insurance company though, every single one is different. We found something that you might want to look in to, or think about. My son seemed to have accidents no matter what we did, reduction of fluids, making sure he used the restroom before bed. He had seen multiple doctors, when one finally asked if he was allergic to milk. We said yes, he had been as a baby but had grown out of it. They did an ultrasound on my son and found that even though he was having bowel movements, his intestines had fecal matter hardened on the sides, and the pressure from the bowels (that were also inflamed slightly) was pushing on his bladder and would make him urinate with out him even knowing, at night it pushed harder and that is why most of his accidents happened at night. We put him on soy milk, removed all milk products from his diet and cleaned him out with a children's laxative (the doctor gave it to us) and he hasn't had an accident since then. I am not saying she is allergic to milk necessarily, but that problems we would never associate with bladder problems can be the source. Good luck

Could i do an engine swap with a corvette into a grand am?

i'm looking to do an engine swap to gain more horsepower/speed. i'm a bit new with doing work on cars, tuning cars, and a bit of racing cars. i'm looking to take my all stock 1999 Pontiac Grand Am se and put a stronger/faster engine in it and i would prefer to put a 2009 Chevy Corvette ZR1 engine in to replace my Grand Am's 3.4L 3400 SFI. any other ideas would be considered also, i still have to find an engine to swap with. any ideas/recomendations/advice/etc. would be greatly appriciated. i know Grand Ams aren't exactly a "top dog" in the racing/tuning world, but i'm looking for mine to set a new standard. my first part to this project is for it to be a "Sleeper car" (only tuned and no body/exterior adjustments). OTHER NOTES/IDEAS: swap out exhaust with a 1999 Grand Am GT for the 4 pipes instead of 2. add a Flowmaster 80 or Borla(i need to research it more) exhaust kit. then with whatever engine i end up getting to replace my current one, adding a twin turbo/supercharger/turbo(whatever fits). lowering the suspension. new higher performance brakes. and I have already been told that i would need a new "chip" (ECU) for the new engine along with new gauges to keep up with the new gear. i'm pretty sure i've covered everything i need to cover about my plan and the info.
